Meet the Bugs!

There are five different types of bugs in Squish Squash. Each bug comes in five different color patterns. Squish the same type of bug in a row to earn a combo. Squish the same type AND the same pattern to earn a double combo! Perform enough combos to fill the power bar and you'll earn a power-up!

Brutes:

Large and slow moving these bugs are tough and fearless! The only way to stop a Brute is to smear it! Touch a Brute and then slide your finger around to smear it along the ground leaving puddles of sticky goo behind! Brute goo will slow some bugs down if they get stuck in it! Brutes have huge appetites so don't let them near your crumb or it will be gone in seconds.

Hunters:

Hunters have pincers that can bite your finger if it is touching the screen. When a Hunter bites you it will subtract from your score! Hunters will relentlessly run to whereever your finger was last touching, use this knowledge to lure them away from your crumb! If a Hunter gets near the crumb it will stop for a snack while it waits for your finger to show up again!

Peons:

Small, round, hungry and dumb as a door nail. Peons tend to travel in large packs and think about only one thing...food. Use Brute goo to slow them down!

Hoppers:

These jumping bugs can only be squashed when they are on the ground. If Hoppers get stuck in Brute goo they will not be able to jump till they crawl out of it.

Wimps:

Tiny and super quick! Wimps will scatter at the first sign of danger, but will quickly re-group. They move fast so they can easily get to your crumb and start eating, but don't worry too much unless you let alot of them slip through! Use Brute goo to slow them down!
