Jan. 1st, 2008 HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Dreamhive would like to wish our friends and clients a happy and prosperous 2008! Nov. 1st, 2007 The Dreamhive is celebrating a very successful first year of business today! We'd like to take this time to thank the wonderful clients, artists and animators we've worked with over the past year. We've had a fantastic time working with you and look forward to another great year to come! Sept. 18th, 2007 The Dreamhive is pleased to welcome Ready At Dawn Studios, makers of Daxter and the soon to be released God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP as its newest client. July. 23rd, 2007 We are pleased to announce that Dreamhive will be debuting a special 30 second teaser animation during Comic-Con 2007 in San Diego. The animation, which features characters from Jason Rubins's new Iron and The Maiden action-adventure comic series, can be seen playing on the screen at the Aspen Comics booth as part of their promotional reel for Iron And the Maiden #1, due in stores everywhere August 1st! July. 20th, 2007 With Comic-Con and SIGGRAPH only a few short days away we've been very very busy! We've got alot of very exciting things in the works, but unfortunately it's all top secret coolness that we'll have to wait to share with everyone. We can announce some new additions to our studio store though! We recently added a whole line of hip shirts that sport our studio logo as well as a few shirts that feature our original character "Hope". Check back soon for round-up coverage of our trip and highlights from Comic-Con and SIGGRAPH 2007! June. 7th, 2007 The Dreamhive will be in San Diego from July 25th to August 9th. Come see us at Comic Con, where we'll be on hand for the unveiling of Jason Rubin's Iron and The Maiden comic series, published by Aspen Comics. The week following Comic Con, we'll be available to meet with our west-coast clients, then it's back to the San Diego convention center for SIGGRAPH 2007. Hope to see you there! April. 29th, 2007 Our studio forum is up are running and can be accessed via the link at the top of this page. If you are a client or registered contractor you will recieve a personlized login and password that allows you to read and post on your project boards. March. 6th, 2007 Wes Grandmont III, co-founder and Senior CG Supervisor for The Dreamhive, has been invited to be part of a panel discussion in association with the UCF Siggraph Chapter and the Orlando ACM Siggraph Chapter. The panel discussion is entitled, "SIGGRAPH Afterhours : with people who've been there, done that, and etc...". The panel discussion will take place from 7pm-9pm on the UCF main campus on Thurs. Feb. 17th, 2007 Wes Grandmont III, co-founder and Senior CG Supervisor for The Dreamhive, will be guest lecturing at the University of Central Flroida's graduate school, FIEA (Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy) on Friday, Feb. 23rd. The three hour workshop, entitled: Mel Scripting: Core Concepts & Workflows will give students a solid production-focused foundation for further exploration into the power of scripting within Autodesk's Maya. Feb. 5th, 2007 Wanna take a little piece of the hive home? Our studio store is up and running (follow the "Studio Store" link above). We only have a few items right now including a super-cool coffee mug, but we'll be adding more stuff in the near future, some of it featuring characters from our original animation properties. Jan. 22nd, 2007 The studio blog is now live, you can check it out via the link on this page. Follow our progress as The Dreamhive develops over the coming months! Jan. 17th, 2007 Happy New Year and hello to our friends and family, past and current clients, and to our future clients who are checking us out for the first time. 2007 marks a new year for The Dreamhive and we've got lots of cool stuff planned. For starters, welcome to our new site! It's been a while in coming, but here it is brand spanking new and fresh off the digital presses! Be sure to check out our gallery and reel. We're working on some very cool projects right now and as soon as we get permission from our clients, we're hoping to post some images of the work we've been doing. Additionally as you can see on the site header we also specialize in original IP creation. We've got several cool properties underway and very soon there will be a special area of this site devoted to showcasing our offerings. Also in the not too distant future you'll be able to check out our studio Blog via a link on this page! |
